Eleftheria Tseliou gallery is happy to present Maria Efstathiou's first solo show 'Nowhere Dense'. The show opens on Tuesday, December 20 and will be on display until the 22nd of January 2017.
Maria Efstathiou in her show ‘Nowhere Dense’ presents a series of works on paper (printouts, ink monotypes, paper reliefs), an overhead projection and a series of sculptures. Borrowing the exhibition title from topology, Efstathiou focuses on the detail, while she observes and handles the traces that derive from the construction of the works with great sensitivity. The mapping of the space that could be viewed as empty reveals an adventure of lines and shapes; A whole new world.
