Vasilis Zografos was born in Mytilini, Lesvos 1965. He studied at the School of Fine Arts at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, (1987-1992). During the period 1993-1995, he gained a scholarship from the Lilian Voudouri Trust in conjunction with the Dutch State whereby he attended and completed the Masters Degree Course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Groningen, in the Netherlands. In 2002 he completed a multi-discipline Masters Course at the Polytechnic School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in the Preservation, Conservation and Restoration of Art Works. Between 2002 and 2007 he taught Painting and Drawing at the Ecole Régionale de Beaux Arts de St. Etienne. He now lives and works in Thessaloniki.
